John Thomson (First Baptist Church), Pat Small (First Baptist Church), Crystal Atherton (Second Congregational Church), Tom Scully (Beverly Public Library), John Suminsby (Second Congregational Church), Kathy Connolly (City of Beverly), David Shawn (First Parish Church), Elaine Israelsohn (Temple B’nai Abraham), Barbara Broudo (Endicott College), Barbara Cook (Dane Street Church), Sr. Marguerite (St. Mary’s), Carole Mori (Dane Street Church)

David Goss called to say that he would not be able to attend. He did reiterate that he had a student who was available to assist the surveyor. He provided her name and emphasized her credentials and experience in archival work.

Meeting Minutes:

Archivist Presentation

Kristen Kobialka, Archivist Candidate, made a presentation. She distributed a corrected resume, answered questions, and offered examples of the types of recommendations that might follow from her work as the surveyor. 

Archivist Search

In the aftermath of Kobi’s presentation, there was a unanimous vote to offer her position. Crytstal Atherton and John Suminsby emphasized that before offering her the position, we must be clear that the grant can pay for her services. 

Minutes

Minutes of the December meeting were approved.

Logo

Barbara Broudo reported that the BAP Logo had been revised and submitted to Charlie Wainwright.

Exhibition

Regarding the BAP Exhibit, Barbara Broudo reported that David Goss are planning a meeting to discuss institutional time lines and subsequent steps for the exhibit.

MHRAB letters

David Shawn, John Thomson, and Barbara Broudo reported that each had written a letter of support to the legislature promoting the work of the MHRAB.
