Time and Place of Meeting

Beverly Public Library

Meeting attendees:

Present: C. Mori, T. Scully, J. Suminsby, E. Iraelsohn, B. Broudo

Due to bad weather the original meeting was rescheduled.

Minutes of the December meeting were NOT approved and will have to be addressed at the February meeting.

Grant:

Tom Scully was the facilitator for the meeting. He walked us through the process of writing the grant. J. Thomson provided the support letters to be signed by the participating organizations and the project description. S. Hall provided the cost breakdown for the project.

Copies of the letter need to be signed and returned to T. Scully before January 24, 2005.

B. Broudo was asked to be the projector manager. Answer will be given by January 18, 2005. BAP will request $4500.00 for the workshop project.

Grant deadline is FEBRUARY 11, 2005. B. Broudo and T. Scully  will meet January 24, 2005  to complete the grant application.

Exhibit:

A small group will meet with Mike Collins and Bob Nelson in late January to review the architectural drawings for the next BAP exhibit.

It was suggested that the current exhibit be displayed during the Art Week program in June.

The current exhibit boards are now stored at the Beverly Public Library but it was agreed that they will be scanned at NMRLS within the next few months and the original boards be returned.

Website:

J. Suminsby has been working on the website with C. Wainwright. Each organization has been asked to write a description of their holdings.

C. Mori and B. Broudo will write an article for the site.

Meetings:

February:  February 3, 2005 at the Beverly Public Library @ 9:30 am to review the final grant application.

March: Field Trip to NEDCC in Andover MA to see paper conservation.
