Time and Place of MeetingBeverly Public Library Meeting attendees:Present: J. Suminsby, J.Thomson, E Iraelsohn, D. Brown, C. Mori, Sister Marguerite, Joanne Fossa B. Broudo. Absent: Tom Scully
Minutes of the March 3, 2005 meeting approved.
The committee welcomed Joanne Fossa from the Memorial United Methodist Church.
A portion of the meeting was involved discussion regarding the comments from Bill Milhomme about the MHRAB grant application. Several items were changed and John Thomson will write up the changes. The new written description will be attached to these minutes. Carol Mori, Tom Scully, John Thomson and Barbara Broudo will meet on April 19 to make the needed changes. All participating institutions have been requested to submit the quantity of materials that need processing.
The May 2005 BAP meeting will be held in the evening to encourage additional organizations to become involved and active. A notice of the meeting will be listed in the local papers along with an article and photograph. Carol Mori will contact the newspapers. The Library has scheduled the 4th floor conference room for the meeting. · Set up the exhibit boards · Provide an update of BAP · Kobi will be invited to attend. · Business meeting – to talk about Homecoming
The Web site will convert from “test” to “online ” and all information is being passed along to Charlie Wainwright.
Carol Mori will update our three fold brochure to have ready for the May meeting. Carol also is correlating and boxing all the BAP archives. She needs a copy of the grants for the Archives.
Barbara Broudo will follow up with the Endicott College Photography department about creating digital photographs of the exhibit boards. Cost will be submitted at the May meeting.
Artfest sponsored by the Beverly Main Streets Program will be held June 10-12. Elaine Iraelsohn will contact the Main Streets chair for information about a table. A silent auction of a basket containing items from the BAP participating institutions will be held. Proceeds will be used for operating expenses. John Thomson, Treasurer, will take care of any monies raised by the auction.
John Suminsby recommended having the participating institutions pay $25.00 dues. The committee agreed, and will begin September 2005.
Next meeting will be May 5 , 2005 at the Beverly Public Library @7:30 PM.. Respectfully submitted;
