Time and Place of MeetingBeverly Public Library Meeting attendees:Present: J. Suminsby, J. Thomson, E. Iraelsohn, D. Brown, C. Mori, Sister Marguerite, B. Broudo, C. Atherton Absent: Tom Scully Minutes of the April 7, 2005 meeting approved. An update on the MHRAB grant application was presented. A full committee effort made it possible to develop the changes, and send it in on time. A thank you all everyone who assisted in pulling the revised grant application together. B. Broudo will contact Bill Steeelman regarding the ENHC grant and will become the contact person.
The June 2005, BAP meeting will be held in the evening 7-9 PM to encourage additional organizations to become involved and active. A notice of the meeting will be listed in the local papers along with an article and photograph. Carol Mori will contact the newspapers. John Thomson will contact Anna Langstaff, the Assistant Library Director, to schedule use of a room and to confirm the Library will continue to be the sponsoring agent for grants. · Provide an update of BAP – Annual report. · Kobi will be invited to attend. · Garret Williams will be invited to present information about the use of BevCam. · Business meeting –Art Fest, schedule meeting times for 2006-2006, new business
Carol Mori updated our three fold brochure with the new contacts and will have it ready for the June meeting. During the last month, Carol correlated and boxed all the BAP archives.
Artfest sponsored by the Beverly Main Streets Program will be held June 10-12. Elaine Israelsohn contacted the Main Streets chair Rinus Osterbek for information about participating. The space is 10’ x 10’. If their Board approves we will not be charged for the space. C. Mori has a tent, and we will install the exhibit boards and sign early Friday June 10. B. Broudo will send out a sign up form for the exhibit coverage June 10 and 11. B. Broudo will check to see if Endicott has a display form for the boards, otherwise, foamcore frames will be made and the boards will be displayed as a book. Use of table/s will be arranged. C. Mori has the Timeline developed last year and will make it into a power point program for use on Cable. Next meeting will be June 9, 2005 @7:00 PM location TBA. Respectfully submitted;
