Time and Place of MeetingBeverly Public Library Meeting attendees:J. Suminsby, E Iraelsohn, D. Brown, C. Mori, Sister Marguerite, B. Broudo, guests Bill Shea, Ann Nadeau and Kris Kobialka. Minutes of the May 5 , 2005 meeting were not approved. They will need to voted on at the September meeting along with the June minutes. The committee welcomed guests Bill Shea, Ann Nadeau and Kris Kobialka B. Broudo presented the Annual Report. The notes were then presented to Carol Mori to be included in the BAP Archives. See attached for the report. BAP received the Essex National Heritage Grant for storage materials. C. Mori and B. Broudo will attend the June 13 award recipient breakfast. Later this summer, plans will be completed to initiate the use of the funds. New initiatives and goals were discussed for implementation next year. A grant application may be developed to create a documentation database of all the past, lost, and present city civic organization’s records and their location. K Kobialka suggested we use the existing inventories as a start in developing a database. Artfest was successful with a donation basket increasing our treasury by $26.00. C. Mori, D. Goss and J. Thomson took photographs that were placed on a DVD disk and played at the meeting. BAP has been asked to be present at the SAM-SAM Fair on June 18th from 10 AM to 2PM at the Hale Farm on Hale Street, sponsored by the Beverly Historical Society and Museum. The presentation will be the same as Artfest using the tent and exhibit boards. Carol Mori, David Goss and Barbara Broudo will set up. B. Broudo will stay until noon, and Elaine and Jack Israelsohn will breakdown at 2 PM. After the SAM-SAM program BAP will not meet until September 8, 2005. Next meeting will be September 8, 2005 at the Beverly Public Library @9:30 A M.. in the Barnet Room The space allocation has already been scheduled with Anna Langstaff, Acting director of the BPL..
