The Beverly Archives Project (BAP) held its regular meeting and a public workshop on Disaster Response Planning on February 2nd, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at the Beverly Public Library.

1.         In the absence of Carol Mori, Barbara Broudo presided.

2.         The minutes of the January meeting were reviewed, and unanimously APPROVED.

3.         Barbara Broudo will prepare and send the required interim report on the grant funding our archivist, Kobi.

4.         There is a balance of $850 remaining in the Essex National Heritage grant for supplies.

5.         Denise circulated and discussed a mock-up of the 2007 calendar.

6.         Barbara Broudo demonstrated how to fold an archival storage box.

7.         Kobi made a one-hour presentation on Disaster Response Planning that was very thorough and well-received. There were many questions and useful discussion. Materials were distributed for handling, and handouts of the information were provided. Additional copies are available from Kobi.

8.         The meeting adjourned at 8:55 PM.
