            The Beverly Archives Project (BAP) held its regular meeting on May 4, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at the Beverly Public Library.

            Present and representing the following organization were:

Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously

VOTED:         To approve the Minutes of the Meeting of April 6, 2006 with one correction and to approve the Treasurer’s Report.

The following business took place:

1.         Carol Mori read Kobi’s report concerning the on-site visits to the member institutions.  Kobi’s final wrap-up presentation will be in June to comply with the grant requirements.  This meeting needs to be highly publicized.  The committee choose three dates June 8, June 17 or June 24.  All felt that June 8 was the most desirable if Kobi was available.  Barbara Broudo will write the final grant reports.

2.         Members reviewed an edited version of the calendar, which will be sold for a suggested donation of $`15.00 each.  The cost to print 100 copies will be about $600.00.

3.         The Committee reviewed the new brochure for BAP.  Some corrections were made with the brochure ready for printing.

4.         The Arts Fest will take place on June 10, 2006.  BAP members will man a table with our new brochure, the BAP calander, if printed in time.  Organizations are encouraged to bring any brochures that they wish to display or hand out to the public.

5.         The members who has volunteered to buy some item for the disaster “reaction pack” to be stored at the Beverly Public Library brought the items to the meeting and those items were placed in the room (BAP Office) we have use of in the basement of the library. 

6.         Carol Mori asked if there were other supplies that  the members wished to have purchased for their achieves with the remaining funds in addition to the disaster wheel which Carol will order for each of the member institutions.. 

Meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
