1. The May Minutes were approved after an addition was made to the 6th item, namely, "C. Minor adjustments will be made". 2. Treasurer's Report - After a Website payment of $96.40, the present balance is $1,038.87. 3. New Membership – Desjardins and the North Shore Music Theater have joined BAP and will be invoiced. We need a welcoming package to include: a. Welcome letter b. BAP brochure – which indicates what we have accomplished. c. Notice that they have a link through our website d. They will be included in Grants 4. BAP Mailing Address - Since John Thomson will stay on as Treasurer and our account is in his name, our mailing address will be as follows: BAP c/o John Thomson, Treasurer 9 Thoreau Circle Beverly, MA 01915 5. Five Year Goals - There were nine responses to Charlie Wainwright's Strategic Goals Prioritization Survey. Not Everyone answered every question. See Survey Results Attached. 6. Calendar - The idea of selling ads and giving the Calendar away is not going to be an option this year. We really do not have the man/woman power to generate all the ads that would be necessary to make it profitable for BAP. We are looking for group pictures of famous Beverly people. Darren Brown agreed to search the Beverly Historical Society's Archives for pictures that we could use. It was suggested that we set up a booth at Homecoming to sell the Calendars. The Library and Desjardins will also take Calendars to sell. Carol needs the dates to highlight in the Calendar. There may be changes, additions or deletions from last year's Calendar. 7. Archive Management Books – Kobi has put a collection of eight volumes of the A.M. Books in the BAP room at the Library. 8. Beverly Farms History Project - Kobi informed us that Nancy Coffey is in charge of this Project. The result of their research will be a book. 9. BAP Elections - Barbara Broudo nominated and the following were unanimously elected to serve in 2007 – 2008 : John Thomson, Chair and Treasurer Charles Wainwright, Vice Chair Elaine Israelsohn, Secretary Carol Mori, Publicity Chair 10. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, September 5th, at 7:00 p.m. Note the change of day from Thursday to Wednesday. This may enable more members to attend. Respectfully submitted - Elaine G. Israelsohn
