Beverly Archive Project Minutes February 6, 2008 The Beverly Archives Project (BAP) held its October meeting at the Beverly City Hall at 7 P.M, chaired by Carol Mori. Present were:
1. The January Minutes were approved. 2. Treasurer’s Report -- Calendar donations $305. Dues from St. Peter’s Church $50. No expenses. End of January balance: $1,284.87. 3. Archives Alive – We don’t know the topic yet. The presentation will be on a Friday in May at the Beverly Public Library. 4. New England Historic Genealogical Society -- The tour of this facility was very worthwhile for those who attended. Thomas Wilcox, chief operating officer of the NEHGS, in an E-mail to John Thomson, indicated there is a lot of Beverly history on microfilm in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, and asked if we are familiar with these records. NEHGS is a Family History Center, and perhaps through them FHL films can be borrowed. 5. Charles Wainwright reported that First Parish Church in Beverly will be releasing their records from 1772 – 1803 on a CD. 6. BevCam -- Training is set up for 4 Thursdays in a row – February 14, 21, 28 & March 7, 4 to 6 pm. 7. The next BAP meeting will be held at the Beverly Public Library on Wednesday March 5, 2008, at 7 pm.
